The city of Rome is one of the most popular destinations in the world for tourists and sightseeing. With such wonderful attractions as the Coliseum, the Pantheon, several stunning fountains, and a multitude churches, art galleries and museums; it is a tourist's paradise. The Italian people are warm and friendly, and their cuisine is second to none. One of the must see sights is the Piazza Navona where artists ply their trade during the day, and where at nightime the restaurants and bars are always busy. The atmosphere is buzzing with locals and tourists mingling as they dine the night away, and you'll be delighted to know that there is a wonderful 2 bedroom apartment available for hire, right here by the lovely Piazza adjacent to the center of this stunning city.
The apartment is situated on the second floor of a character apartment block adjacent to the Piazza, and enjoys views of the busy street below. With its two bedrooms it will comfortably house up to seven adults. The apartment has a rare charm with a wooden beamed ceiling, and is full of interesting shapes and archways that lend it its character. You enter through an entrance lobby in which you will find a single sofa bed.
The floor is beautifully tiled throughout and the lounge/diner has a couple of rugs for contrast and comfort, one of which is positioned under the dining table and its 4 chairs. There is another sofa bed in the lounge, this one being a double. With tasteful wallpaper, a lovely wooden wall unit and a magnificent grandfather clock tucked away in one corner, the room has welcoming atmosphere in which you can sit and watch satellite TV in the evenings, and /or browse the web via the internet access provided
The main bedroom is spacious and has a large wrought iron framed, queen size double bed. There is a bedside cabinet complete with lamp, and a chest of drawers on top of which is a television which receives Italian channels only. The twin bedroom has two single twin beds and plenty of cupboard space in which to hang your clothes. Blankets and sheets are provided for your use.
The apartment benefits from two toilets both of which are fitted with shower and hand basin. All toweling is provided for your convenience. The kitchen is fully functional and well equipped including a gas cooker, microwave, and fridge, and plenty of pots and pans and cooking utensils. There is also a washing machine.
The apartment is fully air conditioned for your summer comfort, but if you prefer travelling outside of summer, there is a heating system to keep the chill away. If you have a little one with you, a cot has been thoughtfully provided. There is also a telephone for incoming calls only.
The apartment has to be viewed to be fully appreciated. Not only is it comfortable and full of character, but its position here on Piazza Navona couldn't be better. It puts you right where you want to be - in the center of this amazing city, and is the perfect base from which you can travel around all that is Rome.
