Testimonials

Mr Ekkel / Aureliano
From Sep-17, 2009 Until Sep-21, 2009
Very much appreciate the hospitality from Barbara. For example: due to late arrival she managed to prepare some groceries which was perfect!

Mr Luc Mintjens / Aureliano
From May-06, 2010 Until May-13, 2010
We can recommend this apartment. The staff Olivia and Barbara are very friendly. We came by car and they arranged for us a garage. There was also bread and some snacks when we arrived. The rooms are clean and there is enough space. Take bus 492 in front of the apartment and you are within 10 minutes in the centre of Rome. There are also some good restaurants near to the apartment. We can recommend il pulcino ballerino.

Slootjes / Alexandra Holidays
From May-24, 2010 Until May-28, 2010
The appartement was big enough for us (4 adults). It was clean, the location was very good and the security its good.

Thanks,

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much. Nice location in a non-touristic area of Rome, close to the bus-stop, supermarkets, bars and several nice places to eat.

SHOPPING IN ROME:

All sorts of shopping opportunities are available in Rome, whether you're looking for the latest designer fashion creation or a unique piece of art, or just looking to browse, here's our guide to the highlights of shopping in Rome...

Piazza Navona should be the first stop for art and culture lovers. The streets surrounding the plaza are full of art galleries, antique stores and boutiques. Film buffs will enjoy browsing in the film and cinema shop in Via del Governo Vecchio.

The neighbourhood surrounding Piazza Di Spagna (where the Spanish Steps are located) is one of the ritziest areas in Rome, making it a great place to browse amongst the latest Italian designer fashion for men and women. Via Dei Condotti is where you'll find labels like Prade, Dolce and Gabanna, Versace, Gucci and Armani. You used to have to pay just to get in the door, but these days they're open to the public for free.

If you like bargain hunting or browsing at length, you'll love a visit to the Porta Portese flea market which is on every Sunday from 8am until 12 midday. From CDs, vinyl, antique furniture and homewares, you'll find just about anything and everything here!

The fresh produce and food market at Piazza San Cosimato is a fun and lively affair for browsing amongst Italy's freshest produce and watching the local buyers and vendors haggling over the produce. The market opens at 7am and closes promptly at 2pm.

To enjoy the city like the locals do, consider one of our Rome apartments.
