Thanks,

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much. Nice location in a non-touristic area of Rome, close to the bus-stop, supermarkets, bars and several nice places to eat.

Mr Ekkel / Aureliano
From Sep-17, 2009 Until Sep-21, 2009
Very much appreciate the hospitality from Barbara. For example: due to late arrival she managed to prepare some groceries which was perfect!

Mr Luc Mintjens / Aureliano
From May-06, 2010 Until May-13, 2010
We can recommend this apartment. The staff Olivia and Barbara are very friendly. We came by car and they arranged for us a garage. There was also bread and some snacks when we arrived. The rooms are clean and there is enough space. Take bus 492 in front of the apartment and you are within 10 minutes in the centre of Rome. There are also some good restaurants near to the apartment. We can recommend il pulcino ballerino.

Traveling by Train to Rome

One of the greatest ways to travel around Europe is by train, whether you and a buddy are trying to find a cheap way to see the sights, or a family looking for a safe and economic way from one country or city to another. One reason why people choose to travel by train is that someone else is doing the driving, leaving you free to enjoy the landscaping and unique scenery.

Another reason that many tourists travel by train is that trains can go many places where regular traffic is limited, like mountain passes, or parts of deep forests. There are many spectacular images you will see by train that you won't with any other kind of travel. You will also find many quaint stations, and towns you wouldn't normally find, but are still just as interesting.

Instead of buying a ticket from one destination to another, there are many that buy a train pass. For one price, you can travel along a train route for a specific amount of days at a time, and are able to get on and of anywhere along the route, within the allotted amount of time. You can also get extensions on the time as well. If you are interested in traveling this way, you can either purchase tickets directly from a station, or you can order online prior to your trip.

Another way to save money on your Roman holiday is to stay in a holiday apartment. If you aren't familiar with these, they are an economic way to arrange lodging in a city rather than pay the exorbitant prices for hotels. Hotels are expensive, don't include meals, and there is no privacy. With a holiday apartment, they are available with up to four bedrooms, quite enough room for friends or family.

With a holiday apartment Rome, you don't have to worry about dining out, and having to pay high prices, even for a typical quick meal. These lodgings are fully equipped with stocked kitchens, including all appliances, cooking and meal preparations, the only thing not included is food. What better way to mingle with the locals than by shopping at local markets?

Not only do these holiday apartments include all the comforts of home, clean beds, television, and DVD players, and the like, but also include many of the same amenities as regular hotels, maid services, laundry facilities, pool, or gym. These can also be a great starting point for any tours and attractions you are booking as well.

You can find all this information and more online, or through your local travel agent. You can find detailed information on attractions around Rome, book tours, and reserve Euro-Rail pass ports. It is a wealth of travel knowledge. It is a good idea to do some researching first, to get the most from your travel dollar.

Whenever you are traveling abroad, it is a good idea to keep some safety tips in mind. Never hold all of your money and valuables on your person; keep them at the apartment. Whenever possible, travel with a friend, or in a small group. Don't hang out in large crowds, pickpockets like to use crowds to work their magic. Using these tips with help you out a lot.

Don´t hesitate anymore, travel to Rome by train!
